We’re excited to announce three incredible scholarship opportunities for students participating in the 2024-25 season of Destination Imagination: the DI Graduate of the Year Award, the Founders Award, and the DI Scholar Award. Applications are officially open!

Scholarship Details

DI Graduate of the Year Award
This prestigious award recognizes an exceptional student who exemplifies DI’s mission to ignite creativity, collaboration, and innovation among youth. The recipient will receive a $2,500 annual scholarship for four academic years, totaling $10,000.
Founders Award
Created to honor the vital contributions of DI’s dedicated volunteers, this scholarship celebrates the spirit of giving back. One recipient will be awarded $1,500 annually for four years, amounting to $6,000.
DI Scholar Award
This award is granted to five individuals who demonstrate DI’s core values: respect, collaboration, stewardship, perseverance, and integrity. Each recipient will receive a one-time $1,000 scholarship.

Who Can Apply?

These scholarships are open to students graduating high school in 2025 or those currently pursuing a degree at a trade school, community college, or university. Applicants must plan to attend a post-secondary educational institution during the 2025-26 academic year and must have actively participated in Destination Imagination as a team member or volunteer during the 2024-25 Challenge season.

Letter of Recommendation
Creative Response to the Following Questions
- How has Destination Imagination impacted your life?
- Why is it important to get others involved in DI?
- How do you embody the spirit of volunteerism and make an impact in DI?

Creative responses can be in any format—think outside the box! Options include original songs, podcasts, videos, stories, poems, essays, websites, or any other creative medium.
