Congratulations to our 2019 Graduate of the Year, Jacob Riffel!
Jacob is a participant with Destination Imagination Ohio and next year, he will be pursuing a career in computer engineering at Ohio State University. He is an active member of Dare, the National Honors Society, the Miamisburg High School Cross Country Team, and BOLD club.
This year, Jacob participated in four DI Team Challenges. Three of these Challenges have advanced his teams to Global Finals 2019 and he recently received a special award for a drone he built from scratch.
“Jake chooses Challenges not because he can ‘win’ with them, but because he seeks to gain knowledge, push himself outside his comfort zone, and challenge himself and his teammates,” said Donna Fontaine, his Team Manager. “This has allowed him to accomplish the amazing feat of having competed in all six Challenges offered by Destination Imagination!”
