Destination Imagination (DI) is seeking volunteers to serve on our committee for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). The DEIB Committee is tasked with empowering all segments of the DI community to create experiences that are inclusive, equitable, and accessible to all. The DEIB Committee provides data and strategic guidance to DI, working in close cooperation with the staff and Chief Executive Officer.
Our DEIB Committee was formed in January 2021 and is currently composed of members representing many facets of the DI community, including staff, alumni, and operational volunteers. Visit this page to read about the actions this committee has completed so far.
We are seeking new committee members to help us facilitate our new strategic plan. Committee members attend monthly meetings via Zoom, and complete other tasks on an as-needed basis. Click here to learn more about the desired skills/abilities for committee members.
