We are thrilled to announce that Destination Imagination (DI) has been chosen as one of the top 100 education innovations to watch in 2023.

Destination Imagination was chosen out of 3000+ applicants for our impact in education innovation. Nearly 200 education experts deemed our Challenge Experience both impactful and scalable.
HundrED identified a few common threads among this year’s selected innovations, and we are proud to be aligned with others that value these approaches to education:
- A focus on helping students develop 21st century skills, defined as the skills to build a healthy and productive life and to adapt to a changing world.
- A focus on student social and emotional well-being.
- A focus on student agency; helping students to develop their own voice and putting the student at the center of the experience.
DI’s own Director of Education, Johnny Wells, will be representing DI at HundrED’s Innovation Summit in Helsinki, Finland this week: “Being included for recognition along with so many other forward-thinking organizations is a tremendous honor. I look forward to exploring ways DI can collaborate with these organizations to continue improving education worldwide.”
